  1. 1.In my own words the video was telling us to keep our presentation simple but meaningful.By this he means do not add a whole bunch of words on to a slide just cause, use key ideas to keep it short but informational.the less is more.

    2.
focus on the story you want to tell
    have a clear beginning,middle,and end
    stay outside the box,be creative
the less you have the more informing it will be
limit each slide to one key idea
try not to bore the audience
    keep it simple but meaningful

  2. 2. In summary, the video is stating that if you wish to have a successful and less boring presentation, you must follow very simple rules. You must simplify your presentation. Don't over do it with pictures, text, or data. Instead, have that memorized and on the notes on hand. Have a very structured but interesting presentation, with a beginning, middle, and end. Less is more. Always try to stay outside of the box when structuring and thinking about what you're going to say.

    3. - Focus on the story to tell
    - Structure your pres. with beginning, middle, end.
    - Stay outside the box
    - Less is more
    - Limit each slide to one idea
    - Build ideas incrementally
    - Use broad pictures

  5. 2) The video explains and shows the steps to presenting a good power point. Marc Strong explains how having a clear idea on each slide is a good way to keep your audience informed. Also, having a clear beginning, middle, and end will keep your audience engaged.

    3)
    - Have a clear beginning, middle, and end
    - Take notes on a sticky note to help with creativity
    - Less is more
    - Try to tell your story with images
    - Focus on the story you want to tell
    - Try to limit each slide with one main idea
    - Speak with passion so your audience will have to read AND listen

  7. 2.To summarize the video in my own words, I believe it wants to show you how to present a presentation how to be powerful with your words. To be more meaningful to not bore your audience because there are many people that do presentations daily perhaps thousands. So they want to give it there maximum so they cant be reading from the board they have to change it up a little bit. Perhaps the audience can read it faster than you then they think your making fun of them because they probably will know how to read.

    3.
*Thousands of people daily give presentations
*Simple structure beginning, middle, and end
    *Less is more in occasions
*Look for visual ways to tell stories
    *Use quotes if possible
*Use key term text but hide it from the audience, your own notes
    *Practice makes perfect
*Don't make charts the are hard to understand
*Don't and i mean DON'T read from the BOARD

  8. 2. The video is a great crash course in Power Point planning, teaching the creator to utilize the tools given to make an interesting, effective presentation. Power Points can be boring and can easily let the creator fall into the habit of repetitive slides and messy images. The video gives basic instructions to help the creator tell a story to their audience and get better results.

    3.
-make your presentation like a story with a beginning, middle, and end.
-less is more! use graphs, charts, and other images sparingly.
-limit your slides to one key idea or build up ideas incrementally through a few slides.
-you can use quotes to help make a point.
-engage your audience so that the presentation will be interesting and memorable.
-don't bore your audience by making them read the slides, and remember that an audience will not be truly listening if they are reading something other than what you are saying.
-work on paper when planning, because this helps you think outside of the box and will let you lay out your ideas visually.

  9. 2) Overall the video's key points are how to give a good presentation. This includes having the right strategies and how to approach the situation. Do you have too many pictures or words? Limit down how much information is on one slide. Try to limit each slide to one key idea. You also have to focus on the story you want to tell, and have a clear beginning, middle, and end that can build to your conclusion. By doing all of this, your audience will seem more engaged and interested in what you have to present.

    3) Key Points From the Video

-focus on the story you want to tell
-clear beginning, middle, and end to build to you conclusion
-use minimal text, photos, clear charts and graphs, etc.
    -sometimes, less is more
    -don't "dumb down" your presentation
-try to limit each slide to one key idea
-or build the idea incrementally so it's easy to follow
-use plenty of text to help remind you what to say
-hide it in you notes that only you see
-if it takes more time, energy and rehearsal, it's well worth the effort

  10. 2) The video was about a guy, Jim, who learned a better way to present the information he wanted to share with people. At first, he would just present using a PowerPoint, never really grabbing the audience's attention. After he learned a new way to present the information, people couldn't leave their eyes from him because he showed his information in a much more interesting way.

    3) Based upon my experience, the key points that I can take away from the video include:
    - Presenters need to focus more on the story they want to tell, rather than just the information they want to share.
    - A simple structure any presenter could follow is to have a beginning, middle, and end linking together various points, leading to a final conclusion.
    - When a presenter is outlining his/her story, they should write down their ideas and plan out how they want to present their information.
    - A presenter should always look for visual ways to tell their story.
    - When in doubt about how to present, you should try to recall that people cannot read a slide and truly listen to the speaker at the same time.
    - Presenters should still have various notes, but they should only be able to be read by himself/herself.

  11. 2) Well this video overall says that long presentations could be boring and they wont actually pay attention. But sometimes that side could have very important information but since its to long they get bored and they don't pay attention. So you need to make the presentation short and fun. How you could do that is by putting pictures graphs and other interesting stuff so they wont be bored of your presentation. And don't read from the side. have notes and summarize it.

    3)

    * you have to focus on your story
    * you also have to start with a beginning, middle, and then the end
    * you have to give important points for your conclusion
    * less is more
    * limit each side to one key point
    * you could use paper or sticky notes to write down your main points
    * to make your presentation fun you have to put pictures and graphs

  12. 1- Video Notes

2- The video explains about how to make your presentation entertaining to the audience. If you are doing a presentation, you cannot read everything that you put in the presentation because your audience will be bored. To make the audience avoid being bored during the presentation, you have to use your personal notes to help you explain your presentation. It is important to keep your personal notes because it can help you explain your story in a better way.

3- The key points that I can take away from the video are:

    - Do not bore the audience
    - Use your notes
    - Focus on your story
    - Use bullet points
    - Use quotes
    - There is a beginning, a middle, and an end of a story of your presentation.
    - Try to encourage the audience

2.The video is saying that unless you work for success you will get it and you will make it where you can be.Like it says in the video "All the so-called 'secrets of success will not work unless you do".Use your notes for a good presentation, explain.

3.Based upon my experience the key points are:
    *Take time
    *make it simply stated

Build an idea incrementally so it is easy to follow
Take more time, energy, and rehearsal
Use simple pad of paper or sticky notes
Use minimal text, photos, and clear charts or graphs

  17. 2) The video shows many strategies on how to make your presentations better. They key strategy that they used was "less is more". It basically is that you have to use less props to make your presentation more interesting so that the audience will be more engaged.

    3)
    - "less is more"
    - Hide text
    - Limit slides
    - One idea for each slide
    - Clear beginning, middle, and ending
    - Look for the best way to show my ideas
    - Use a visual way to show my key points

-use a simple pad of sticky notes to think creatively and think out of the box
    -When power pointing,"less is more."
-limit each slide to one key idea
-look for visual ways to tell a story
    -practice your presentation

  19. 2. The video summarized in my own words is that doing a presentation takes time and effort. Also that when presenting its important to not bore the audience. Another thing is that you need to talk about the main focus and it's good to use bullet points or graphs.
    3. Based upon my experience some key points I can take away from this video are
    • take time doing slides
    •practice at home before presenting
•focus on the main story you want to tell

  23. 2. The video talks about how you should get the person's attention instead of boring them and making them not understand. To make your presentation a little bit more entertaining then you should think of having less writing and more charts and details that are really important to that presentation. At the end your audience understands and has a good view of what your talking about instead of confusing them.

    3.
    * Less is more
    * Focus on story you want to tell
    * uses pad of paper and thinks outside the box
    * Uses clipboard, sticky notes or no props
    * Quotes
    * Hides text

  27. 1. To give a powerful presentation you must stick to a story instead of going off tangent. Sometimes less is more which means that staying with a main idea is better than throwing facts everywhere and expect the audience to understand. The audience wont always hear what your saying so other creative ways to help you slides is to make pictures, graphs, and quotes.

2.Some key points that I can take away from the video is
